This will be the premier of "In the Long Dream of Exile," my settings of three poems by L.A. poet Neil Aitken, for cello
and voice. We'll be featuring Jackie Hayes, mezzo-soprano, and Christopher Ahn, cello.

Listening Alive: A collaborative event between Synchromy, Music on Argyle, and the Symbiosis Chamber Orchestra
@ the Russian Hall (Hollywood) on 1/27/12, and at the First Lutheran Church, in Torrance on 1/28/12.
We'll be premiering a piece I wrote this past summer, "Songs for L.A. Life." The piece is a quartet in three related
movements, for flute, clarinet, viola, and cello.

Idiosynchromatic Art
@ California State University, Northridge, West Gallery
I'll be in the West Gallery at CSUN, at the art department on the north end of campus. This will be a solo show,
where I'll be presenting my art with my music, through the lens of my idiosynchromatic gestures that have dominated
my work, in my music and my paintings. Come and support me on a Tuesday evening, as I launch my show.

My latest piece, newly finished, is a reed trio called "grace." I'll be showing my paintings at this show, and talking
about the common gestures in my art and music, the organism gesture, or worms, that infects my work...
